At DeRomo’s Restaurant, we offer a fun, sophisticated 275-seat dining atmosphere like no other in Southwest Florida. Our warm, inviting café and open-style kitchen offer a luxurious dining experience where you can enjoy a seated Italian meal, or relax with a glass of wine and an appetizer while lounging in our outdoor dining area.

All of our dishes are prepared with our fresh-cut meats, seafood, produce and other ingredients straight from our Gourmet Market. From innovative, decadent entrees to your favorite comfort foods and traditional dishes, our trained chefs are sure to satisfy the most discretionary palate and keep your “heart” coming back for more!

I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, spending countless hours in the kitchen with my parents, grandparents and luckily, my great grandparents, recreating the Italian meals of their childhood, passing it down to my generation. My culinary journey extended to monthly family gatherings in New York, where food was always at the heart of every celebration, especially my GG’s meatballs and sauce! From a young age, I knew my destiny was in the kitchen, constantly experimenting with new recipes and delighting my family with my culinary creations. As a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, I have dedicated my career solely to cooking and have an unwavering passion for bringing happiness and comfort to people through food. As an Italian-American, my heritage infuses my cooking with rich traditions and flavors that resonate deeply with those who gather at my table. My culinary artistry is rooted in tradition, family, and the joy of creating memorable dining experiences. I take all of these memories from my life and truly try to bring the Italian family traditions to our guests. Now they can create their own memories, with some added help of my upbringing.

A native New Yorker Born and raised in Little Italy, on the upper Eastside, (a very vibrant area). There I embraced the family and neighborhood Italian culture and traditions I carry with me today. The American Culinary Federation showed me the road to becoming a Professional Chef. I am most grateful for the inspiration, certification and support of ACF and the Master chefs of our time. My Big Leap, 1984, build Lombardo's Pastaria of SW Fla. & Live Happily ever after married to ACF Chef Rainer Drygala C.E.C., born and raised in Germany, he shares my hopes and dreams. We are both very proud to serve you at DeRomos. Our pasta team strives to bring you the finest, fresh ingredients and use the best techniques for a delicious, quality Pasta experience. Folks, I always look forward to meet and talk with you about my Passion for DeRomo's & Pasta.
